Eligibility is one of the most important factors that every candidate must cross-check before applying. The SSC GD Constable eligibility criteria 2024 comprise various important components as mentioned below.
AGE LIMIT
Know about the maximum and minimum Age limits (as of 1st January 2024). For the SSC GD Candidates.
- Minimum – 18 years
- Maximum – 23 years
AGE RELAXATION
Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc) are eligible for age relaxation. Refer to the below table for more details about it.

| Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1,984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ST) | 10 years |

- The computer-based exam will consist of four different subjects. Each question will carry +2 mark.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.
- The candidates who clear this stage will be selected for the PMT PST.
