DSEU DELHI Polytechnic CET Entrance Exam
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility criteria for intake of students to all diploma courses are after class X or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject, except for Diploma in Pharmacy.
Exception: To apply for a Diploma in Pharmacy, the candidates must have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics (PCB/ PCM) as subjects.
Admission Process
- The eligible candidate shall appear for the Common Entrance Test conducted by DSEU. The university will offer admissions through a merit list created on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the DSEU DELHI Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (CET).
- In addition, the candidate seeking admission to Design-oriented Diploma Courses* (Applied Arts, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Cosmetology & Health and Architecture) must have obtained qualifying marks as specified by the University in Section D of DSEU DELHI Polytechnic CET.
- Similarly, the candidate seeking admission to Diploma in Pharmacy course must have obtained qualifying marks as specified by the University in Section E of DSEU DELHI Polytechnic CET. The merit list shall include marks obtained by the candidate in Section E, in addition to the marks obtained in Section A, B and C.
DSEU DELHI Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (CET)
DSEU DELHI Polytechnic will conduct only one Common Entrance Test (CET) for all its Diploma courses on the given date. The test is divided into 5 sections, and the structure of the Common Entrance Test is as follows:

Please Note –
- Section A, B and C are mandatory for all the candidates and the Merit list shall be created on the basis of marks obtained in these sections.
- Section D is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to design-oriented Diploma Courses (Applied Arts, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Cosmetology & Health and Architecture) must have obtained qualifying marks as specified by the University in Section D of DSEU DELHI Polytechnic CET.*
- The candidate seeking admission to Diploma in Pharmacy course must have obtained qualifying marks as specified by the University in Section E of DSEU DELHI Polytechnic CET. The merit list shall include marks obtained by the candidate in Section E, in addition to the marks obtained in Section A, B and C.
- All questions contain equal marks and there is NO negative marking.
