SSC GD Constable Syllabus -Age Limit Criteria:
- Due to the recent COVID situation, the upper age limit for 2023 recruitment has been increased from 23 to 26 years for all categories.
- only those candidates who were born between 02-01-1997 to 01-01-2005 can apply for this year i.e. 2022 Bharti.

- Candidates who are applying can check their age qualification mentioned in the official notification that will be released by SSC
- Candidates who were born earlier than or later than the dates which are mentioned in the notification are not eligible to apply. However, there is age relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories and communities.
SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria:
- The minimum educational qualification for candidates is matriculation or 10th class passed by any recognized board or university.
- Candidates who are waiting for the result or who have not acquired the required educational qualification such candidates are clearly not eligible.
- Candidates should prepare all necessary certificates/documents describing the following: date of birth(age), education, domicile, caste, hill areas, category for age relaxation, NOC(No objection certificate), Discharge certificate (only in the case of ex-servicemen or any other government employee)
SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern:
- The exam consists of 4 sections with 80 questions 02 Marks Each.
- The duration for the SSC GD Constable Tier I exam is 60 minutes.
- The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is conducted in bilingual languages English and Hindi only.
- There is a 0.50 negative mark for every incorrect answer in the SSC GD online test.
- The questions asked in the online examination will be of High School (10th) level.
- Duration: 60 Minutes and Negative marking: 0.50
